A number for your shuffle

Numbered Deals lets you choose a reproducible Spider starting layout on fyxhw.com. The number and suit setting together identify the starting shuffle. Enter a whole deal number between 1 and 4294967295. Select one suit, two suits or four suits before loading the deal.

Use the controls

Here are the details for this mode. Load deal applies the number and suit setting in the controls. Loading a different number can replace progress saved for the same mode and suit setting. The Deal number field accepts positive whole numbers within the displayed range. An active unfinished game asks for confirmation before loading another selection.

Reproduce the layout

A few details help explain this feature. Move choices after the opening are entirely up to the player. Changing the suit setting changes the deck used to create the deal. The same deal number and suit setting produce the same opening cards with this game's shuffle algorithm. A deal number identifies a starting layout rather than a saved position halfway through play.

Share a starting point

A few details help explain this feature. When automatic copying is unavailable, the game displays a selectable link field. Sharing a link does not transfer another player's move history or statistics. Copy deal link includes the selected number and suit setting in the page's link fragment. A shared numbered link opens the corresponding starting deal or matching local progress.

The numbered objective

A qualifying face-up run is removed automatically. Win by completing eight same-suit King-to-Ace sequences. Numbered Spider uses 104 cards arranged in ten columns with a stock pile. A full descending sequence containing different suits stays on the tableau.

Keep movable groups together

Here are the details for this mode. A descending same-suit group can move together as one unit. An exposed card can move onto a card exactly one rank higher. Any legal movable group may enter an empty column. The destination card may belong to another suit in standard Spider.

Prepare another row

The following details apply here. Undo can restore the position before a stock deal while the snapshot is available. Five stock deals are available at the beginning of a numbered game. Fill every empty column before using the stock. Each stock deal adds one card to each of the ten columns.

Explore one layout

New game chooses another deal number for the current suit setting. The current number remains visible beside the game controls. Comparing different openings on one number can help you study your own decisions. Replay resets the current number to its original shuffle.

No promise for every number

Keep these points in mind. Some choices can make a position harder even when another line might succeed. Numbered shuffles are not advertised as guaranteed winnable. Winning Deals provides a separate collection with verified legal solutions. The Hint button reports legal options rather than solving the whole game.

Save your numbered game

Here are the details for this mode. A matching saved game resumes when you revisit its number. With saving enabled, Numbered Deals keeps a current game for each suit setting in this browser. Use Privacy & Cookie Settings to manage or clear local records on this domain. My Statistics lists numbered starts and wins separately from ordinary Spider games.
